One Room Challenge {my faves}

The past six weeks flew by so quickly I found myself with not enough time to peruse all those lovely rooms created by the other linked up participants in the One Room Challenge. I guess I should mention that actually that wouldn’t have happened as I had to swear off coffee drinking while web surfing. When you spill your vanilla latte on to your computer not once but twice in eighteen months it’s a sure sign you lack the coordination to multitask like that – you know coffee drinking and surfing is a talent. While working on the challenge I definitely need to opt for the coffee drinking so I took this weekend to get caught up on all my peeking at those gorgeous rooms! ORC {the details} & new blog discoveries

As promised I’m back with all the details and sources for my chinoiserie kids bathroom! First up is the biggest and bestest – the wallpaper. I knew I wanted something bright and fun for the bath. When I found this Meg Braff Up a Tree Bamboo on Green I fell hook, line and sinker. I don’t think this room would have been half as fun without that paper. Even when it was just the wallpaper up and I kept going in the bathroom to stare at it I knew I’d made the right choice. I almost didn’t change the faucets out because I didn’t want to freak out the husband. Somehow new faucets kind of makes him lose his mind – like it puts a project over the top.
