Cricut Round 5 {ribbon embroidered t-shirts}

It’s the final countdown for our Cricut Design Space Star contest and we’ve got a way for you to join in the fun! That Girl Kate  6. Sew Creative Blog  7. Petite a Petite and Family I went with the idea of embroidered Christmas t-shirts for my gang. This was a fairly easy project albeit not a fast one. I started out with some basic white inexpensive t’s from Target. I chose a font in the Cricut Design Space and created my words, “Merry” “Bright” & “Ho Ho Ho.” I cut them out with my Cricut Explore™ and I was ready to go! I used the negative space from the words as a template for my t-shirts. …

She’s crafty {Good Night, Sleep Tight Pillowcases}

Each year when Christmas rolls around my family and I have the discussion of whether we should exchange presents or not. Because when you reach a certain age giving presents gets more difficult, since most of us just go ahead and buy things we want or need. But nothing beats the feeling of finding the “perfect” something that you know will make someone’s day. One year my family decided that we could only exchange homemade gifts with each other. Being forced to think outside of my comfort zone ended up being more enjoyable than I would have guessed. That  year I learned how to make lotion, chapstick, granola, and almond butter- all of which were gifts I bestowed upon my family. Cricut Design Space Star Challenge {Round 4}

Once again a month has flown by and we are ready to show all of you our project for Round 4 of the Cricut Design Space Star Challenge. In case you missed our projects for Round 2 and Round 3 (we didn’t participate in Round 1), go ahead and click those links to see our projects. Not to brag or anything, but we’ve had our projects chosen for the Top Ten in both Round 2 and Round 3. These bitches be on a roll, huh? This month the theme for projects was Holiday Decor/Gifts and our team (Lucky #13) chose the theme of Holiday Sparkle. Cricut Design Space Star Challenge {August}

I hope you all have a cup of coffee in front of you because you’re gonna want to spend some time looking at really creative and cool projects today! As I eluded to in this post, Tricia and I are starting a little competition that we are pretty darn excited about. Cricut is having teams of über talented bloggers compete each month making projects using the Cricut Explore. The Cricut Explore is a super easy to use machine which can cut, emboss, or write on materials such as vinyl, leather, paper, fabric, and iron-on’s just to name a few.
