Ten for Thursday {Erin’s Christmas Wish List}

The great thing about having a blog is that you can put together a handy guide for all the gifts you would love to open on Christmas morning. This makes it much easier on the husbands in our lives- preventing them from making bad choices such as buying us a drill for Christmas. Yes, my husband thought that since I bitched so much about the lack of power in my drill that buying me a new, more powerful one would be a great Christmas gift. I say maybe instead I just buy myself a new, more powerful husband who does all these DIY projects for me! So dear husband of mine, if you are reading this, as you should be, any of the following items on this list would not be chucked at our head if I open them on Christmas morning. The drill however- don’t even think about saving that for an anniversary gift!

Christmas Wish List from the Suburban Bitches

1 // Toddy Cold Brew Coffee System

This system promises to make a cup of coffee with very little bitterness. I’ve tried cold brewed coffee made with this system and I can totally attest to the lack of bitterness!

2 // Copper measuring cups

While measuring cups may not be the best gift for a husband to give a wife, they would be a great hostess gift. Or maybe for a teacher that you know loves to cook.

3 // Chief (Female) by Jenna Snyder-Phillips

I happen to think art is really a great gift to give. Art is subjective though so it is best to know what type of art the person likes. I have wanted this work for a very, very long time. The wait has been worth it though as this new edition with gold added to the print is just about as perfect as it can get.

4 // Kork-Ease Isa side zip boot

I bought this pair of Kork-Ease booties earlier this year and have found that they have pretty much taken the place of tall boots for me. It took me a while to figure out how to wear this style of bootie but now I’m obsessed. This pair with a chunky heel are so cute but dear husband if you decide to go this route I would like them in black, not the brown color shown here.

5 // Domino Crosby bike

After my weekend in Portland, Oregon I was convinced that I needed a cruiser bike. Not only are they cute but they really are so much more comfortable to ride around town than even my hybrid bike.

6 // Pom Pom Throw

One can never have too many blankets. Especially when your kids are big into building forts. This one would be great thrown at the end of a bed.

7 // Stella and Dot Nancy Studs

I have these studs in the rose colored stone version and they are my wear everyday earrings. And the size of the fake stone pretty much makes me look like a baller. Even ballers need a set of back up earrings.

8 // Icelandic Sheepskin Throw

Where couldn’t you use this throw at? It is the perfect way to bring texture into a room. Kids could wear it around like a costume. Women could lay themselves on it and pose like a – well, you know where I’m going.

9 // Techie Sweat Ankle Pant

While my husband probably wishes I was the type of woman who would sprawl out on a sheepskin throw, the truth is you’re more likely to find me curled up underneath the throw wearing these sweatpants and watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And my stomach would look nothing like the lady modeling those pants!

10 // Hammered Moscow mule mugs

Moscow mules are currently my drink of choice. And making them in a regular high ball glass just seems wrong. A set of these mugs would make a great gift for so many different recipients.

What’s on your Christmas wish list this year? Do you give your loved ones hints or do they pick things out all on their own? What is the worst gift you have ever received from a loved one?
